GO-GREEN

NFN’s Go-Green programme strives to enhance nutritional quotient of the soil by manure management and at the same time attain environmental benefits by mitigating contribution of dairying in global climate change through limiting the GHG emissions from manure.

NFN proposes to provide biogas plants to women dairy farmers associated with dairy cooperatives & milk producer companies. The farmers will be mobilized and organised into biogas clusters.  Slurry will be purchased and processed. Organic input products made from the slurry will be sold under SuDhan trademark owned by NDDB. These slurry based products will help in increasing the soil health & provide required nutrition to crops leading to enhanced agriculture yield and provide an alternate source of income to the farmers.
